It doesn’t have anything to do with the series of articles, except that it actually depicts me. This was taken by Spanish born and London based photographer Laura Cuch, it’s part of a few she took of me around Goldsmiths, as a way of looking into relations between people and spaces. Laura is a thinking photographer – and she makes her subjects think as well; about the influence of the camera, influence of the process, expression and deception in photography. Her previous works include a series of portraits based on interviews with people suffering from lack of sleep, which she has exhibited in Barcelona.
She’s a very talented lady and I’m sure you will be hearing about her again soon.
