It was only later, based on the map that I developed a linear order for the text of the essay. When one disembarks on the journey into the unknown, a map can always come handy. And reading Foucault I learned to appreciate uncertainty as necessary condition of critical enterprise, rather than associating it “with the miscarriage of thought, with error or carelessness”

The way vector graphics work make them really easy to manipulate and move around, so you basically end up with a choice of ready made elements that you can compose into whatever lay out you like. Or put them in place of other elements to add this extra web 2.0 look (rss feeds icons etc etc). You only need very basic adobe illustrator skills. Slightly distinctive look can really make a difference in the day and age that everybody and their dog have a blog. Don’t be lazy.

it is really tough to convert people from one mind set to the other (as usual). For which reason I decided to cut back on preaching and get on with the practice. Enter digitalize - which will be a new series of interviews and reports looking into how creative industries utilise (or not) digital media and the Internet.
