I have to stick my nose everywhere, don’t I just. Blyk this, Blyk that. The squirrels told me it might work one day. Maybe. 100 000 users and all that.
Well, Let’s see shall we. On a day to day basis. Is anybody going to handle up to 6 advertising messages a day? A target user, not overly geeky, somewhere top, I guess, of the range, that is 16 to 24 years old. I can not see much that 16 and 24 years old have in common, but maybe they equally promiscuous when there’s free texts/calls at stake..?
Sign up. Text, easy enough, get a code back and off to the web site. I’m as honest as can be, I tick all the ‘interests’ boxes, I like music, pubs and bars (no ‘drinking’ box…?!), hanging out with friends, films, gadgets, blogging (doh!).
submit.
As for the title of this post - that’s how they advertise. Except the ‘No service’ bit.
