This is not my idea unfortunately. I think it was Jane who invented it. But I couldn’t resist. Also because I was curious to see what I’m using and more to the point which brands i’ll remember off the top off my head. A lot turns out. I only had to check my tooth paste and brush, hairdryer and eye-liner. The rest is all carved on my brain! Good God.
Secondly, because I can’t put in brand of literarily everything I use (this is already too long), I wanted to see which brands I can handle being identified with. Actually I drink a different, fair trade coffee but I’m not smug enough to bother with changing it. I’m only smug enough to write about it.
Thirdly it’s an attempt at averaging my day. Quite difficult since I hardly have stable working hours at the moment, it varies every week.
All in all it was a revealing test this. If you have a minute please report back on brands you don’t identify. It’d be very interesting…

Very interesting idea, I should try this myself. I think it would mostly be penguin icons but I reckon it would reveal some brands I didn’t even realise I was using. Can I be arsed with collecting the icons though? That’s an alltogether different matter…
Nice work Anna :)
courtesy of google image search it’s very quick business.
I will admit I do not recognize all the brands, but hey you are in Europe.
and finally SOMEONE got the half condom … and here I thought it was a very bad joke that only i found funny.

Given that marketers pay substantial sums for his sort of info why would one post it for free?
ha ha i can see them boot-kicking the doors to pay me…
i’m not really interested in any one telling me what to write. i do that at work.
Where’s Google in your life?
there’s google mail and google reader about 12 pm… though i do use gtalk pretty much all day long, that’s true
If you are using the longer(aka military) time format you don’t need the AM/PM designation, there is no 21:00 PM.
21:00 = 9:00 PM
i know that. i wanted to make sure it’s clear that i’m starting from 10 am and then just somehow sticked to it. I’m not british though, i’m used to the longer format. so it came out a bit of a mix.
thanks for pointing out though.

I really like this trend. Here are my 12 logos in first 12 minutes of my day. 12 Logos in 12 Minutes (A New Blogging Trend)

Well, I don’t live in the west (although I do spend a fair time in the UK and visit the US once a year) I can pretty much discount anything local.
What has surprised me going through all the logos / brands, is the lack of any blog logos.
Dunno about you, but I have a dependency on blogs and even I forgot on my contribution!
(ok, I did limit my subject matter …)
